UNISON operates a number of schemes for UNISON members who wish to undertake courses of study. This could be for:

  • UNISON Branch Representatives who want to enhance their union-orientated skills
  • UNISON Branch members who want to develop their skills or further their education

Education Programme 2016

Have you had all the training you need?

Workplace reps have to attend a series of training courses to ensure that they have all the skills they need to support the role to the fullest.
These courses are free to members and are held in Swansea and Cardiff.

An updated list of courses for activists is now available, including courses from February 2016  to June 2016.

Courses include:

  • Intro to Health & Safety
  • Organising Steward
  • For School Support Staff – Behaviour Management
